Teri had the privilege of representing Governor Albert Bryan Jr. and the people of the Virgin Islands at the FAA Caribbean American Heritage Month celebration in Washington, D.C., at the invitation of Squire Patton Boggs. This event was a significant opportunity to highlight the rich cultural contributions of Caribbean Americans while also underscoring the unique identity of Virgin Islanders as both U.S. citizens and Caribbean natives.
During a roundtable with Ambassadors and FAA experts, Teri asked critical questions about the technologies mitigating near misses and succession planning for air traffic controllers. She also provided updates on the terminal redevelopment projects for St. Thomas and St. Croix airports. Teri’s participation emphasized the Virgin Islands’ commitment to aviation safety and innovation, fostering a more connected future for the USVI and the broader Caribbean community.
