Food Pantry Projects

Teri spearheads the LINKS initiative in addressing food insecurity at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI), representing the Office of the Governor in Washington, D.C. Her role as the Food Pantry Project Manager involves coordinating with LINKS and UVI principals to ensure equitable distribution of food to officially designated Food Insecure UVI students on St. Thomas and St. Croix. Amidst challenging circumstances, including the aftermath of natural disasters and the ongoing impact of COVID-19, Teri’s proactive efforts extend to facilitating a supportive network between LINKS members and UVI students alongside the distribution process.
